1.1: Rights of the Accused ALL citizens have the rights to the following
A legal defense counsel The knowledge of what they are accused of A quick & speedy trial before the judiciary branch & before their peers Freedom to "plead the 5th"(not answering questions)
1.2: Definition of "Legal Counsel"
The defendant is allowed to SELECT their counsel, with a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 3, provided they select FNR citizens The defendant is also allowed to defend THEMSELVES in a case If the defendant has no preference of defender, one will be provided to them. This method will be done so by volunteer; or if necessary appointment by the President
2.1: The Prosecution
The Prosecution will be lead by the nation which accuses the defendant of violating the Constitution of the FNR(and thus the laws of the FNR) The Prosecution may contain up to 3 nations Just like the defense legal counsel, these nations MUST be citizens of the FNR
2.2: Rights of the Prosecution:
The Prosecution has to right to - Obtain information of the case via the obtaining of TG's, referring to messages on the Discord, or any posts on the forum - The right to question the legal counsel, the defendant, and any citizen present for trial
3.1: Means of Trial
ALL trials will go in this order 1. Accusation of crime. 2. Assembly of Prosecution & Defense 3. 2 day period of information gathering for each side 4. Trial begins by judiciary branch 5. Prosecution states case, call witnesses to stand, and present any evidence. 6. This will be followed by the Defense 7. Closing statements from Prosecution then Defense 8. Deliberation from Judges 9. Verdict
