SHORT TITLE: Amendments to the RPRA
LONG TITLE: Additional Amendments to the Role-Playing Reform Act
Definitions
1. This act will add additional amendments to the RPRA in order to make it better and resolve disputes between it and current laws.
Notations
16. The size limit will be abolished. It will be replaced with a series of measures (mainly 21-22.7) that succeeds its purpose without the RP hindrance of the limiting of size.
17. To ensure early fairness, anyone playing as the United States, China or Russia are not allowed to make aggressive RP actions for 3 months (3 years in-game) after the beginning of RP.
18. The population of a nation is determined by the land they occupy and the estimated population in the future.
19.1. Nation-hopping (the action of switching nations) is allowed, but must be approved by the SoRP.
19.2. Players are not allowed to nation-hop if they are in the middle of a major event (such as a war).
20. When choosing which nations to play as, players cannot claim two or more nations nor claim areas occupied by two nations.
21. Continent-wide nations are not permitted one year (12 years in-game) after the beginning of RP.
22.1. If certain nations are becoming too large for proper RP, the universe can be reset to the IRL year the reset takes place.
22.2. Any RP events that occurred before the rest does not affect the post-reset RP.
22.3. For a reset to occur, there must be a vote one whether or not to reset.
22.4. If the vote says yes, it then must be approved by the SoRP.
22.5. If the vote says yes 2/3, the reset will occur without SoRP approval.
22.6. the reset occurs automatically if two nation become continent-wide or own the majority of land in two continents individually.
22.7. Any IRL changes that have occurred before the reset will be implemented (such as a new nation is made).
23. If a nation is committing too many aggressive RP actions in the first 3 months of RP, the SoRP must tell them to stop. If they refuse to stop, the SoRP is allowed to ban them.
24. If someone's nation is conquered, they are given the option to switch nations. However, the person must not solely use the new nation to get their old one back.
25. All treaties resolving wars must be approved be the SoRP to ensure it isn't too demanding. If all parties approve; however, the SoRPs opinion does not matter.
26. The Secretary of Cartography must make the new map within two weeks after the passing of this act or after every reset. If they are unable to, they are given at most two extra weeks.
27. SoRP and SoC are positions in which the President appoints people to.
28.1. Wars will be classified into two categories: those with a casus belli (legitimate reason) and those without.
28.2. Wars without a casus belli must be approved by both parties.
28.3. Wars with a casus belli do not require the approval of both parties, but the casus belli must be approved by the SoRP.
28.4. Casus belli are as follows: lands previously held, committing actions against the nation, in defense of another nation, or abusing the population.
